Hi! I’m Craig.

I have a degree in computer art and english (and earth science), and have been behind the camera lens for years. In 2019, I began Sky Photos to capture and share the beauty of the world, and to tell stories about it. I have experience in industrial engineering and system operations, which has taught me how to learn and understand the technical complexities and safety issues involved in aerial photography. I love what I do and I love working with people to tell their stories.

I’ve worked in help desks, sales, industrial automation, database administration, operations, and many reinventions in between. I’ve helped install power plants, debugged the US Mail system, and upgraded Coca Cola operations. Traveling the world as an application engineer, I learned that one of the most interesting places is right here, in the Hudson Valley, and the capital region where I call home. I volunteer with Rensselaer County Search and Rescue, and I’ve worked as a state DBA contractor. I’ve even owned a Comic book store.

Now, I find beauty, instead of software bugs. I look for symmetry instead of system errors. Most of all, I get to enjoy what I do.
